Support that keeps young people learning, healing, working, and growing with dignity.
Our Education initiative tackles the root causes of illiteracy and educational disparity in Liberia’s most remote and marginalized communities. We go beyond simply building classrooms; we train local teachers in modern pedagogical techniques, provide essential learning materials, and establish safe, nurturing environments that encourage critical thinking. We also run after-school tutoring and meal programs to ensure that children are healthy and supported, enabling them to attend school regularly and break the cycle of poverty through the power of learning.
Learn moreOur Health program addresses the critical gap in medical access by bringing primary healthcare directly to the doorsteps of rural and underserved populations. We operate mobile clinics that offer routine check-ups, maternal and child health services, immunizations, and treatment for common illnesses. Crucially, we pair these services with robust health education campaigns that teach disease prevention, proper sanitation, and nutrition. By empowering communities with knowledge and immediate care, we aim to reduce infant mortality, combat preventable diseases, and foster long-term physical well-being.
Learn moreRecognizing that youth are Liberia’s greatest asset, our Youth Empowerment program focuses on transforming potential into economic independence. We offer hands-on vocational training in high-demand fields such as carpentry, tailoring, information technology, and entrepreneurship. Beyond technical skills, we incorporate financial literacy and mentorship to help young people build viable businesses or secure meaningful employment. This holistic approach instills confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose, equipping the next generation to become active contributors to their communities and the national economy.
Learn moreOur Rehabilitation and Detoxification program offers a safe, confidential, and medically supervised pathway to recovery for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol dependency. We recognize that addiction is a complex health issue, not a moral failing, and we address it with dignity and evidence-based care. The program begins with medically-assisted detoxification to manage withdrawal symptoms safely, followed by intensive counseling, behavioral therapy, and life-skills training to address the root causes of addiction. Beyond clinical treatment, we focus on holistic healing through mental health support, nutritional guidance, and spiritual care. Crucially, we prepare residents for reintegration into society by offering job readiness training, family reconciliation support, and ongoing aftercare groups to prevent relapse. By rebuilding self-worth and providing a strong support network, we empower individuals to reclaim their lives and become productive, healthy members of their communities once again.
Learn moreOur Human Rights initiative stands as a bulwark against discrimination and injustice. We work tirelessly to raise awareness about fundamental rights, providing legal aid and support to victims of abuse, land-rights disputes, and gender-based violence. Through community dialogues and workshops, we educate citizens on their entitlements under Liberian and international law, while simultaneously engaging local leaders to dismantle harmful traditional practices. Our goal is to foster a society where every individual—irrespective of their background—can live with dignity, equality, and full participation in civic life.
Learn moreOur Agriculture program is rooted in the belief that self-sufficient farming communities are the backbone of a prosperous Liberia. We work hand-in-hand with smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and rural families to modernize traditional farming methods while respecting local ecosystems. Our approach includes introducing climate-resilient crop varieties, promoting organic composting and soil conservation techniques, and providing access to quality seeds, tools, and irrigation systems. Beyond production, we tackle post-harvest losses by training farmers in proper storage, processing, and value-addition techniques—such as turning cassava into flour or fruits into preserves—which significantly increase household income. We also facilitate linkages to local and regional markets, helping farmers secure fair prices for their produce. Complementing these efforts, we run farmer-field schools that serve as peer-learning hubs, where communities exchange knowledge on pest management, crop rotation, and sustainable land use. By boosting agricultural productivity and profitability, we not only combat hunger and malnutrition but also build resilient rural economies that can withstand environmental and economic shocks.
